Sonny, that's 5 billion dollars worth of shares buyback by PFE; @ about 100 = about 50 million shares. Of course, what a company announces and what they ultimately complete WRT number of shares bought on a buyback don't have to be the same. Check this out. Barrett says Cisco would be too expensive to buy based on PE ratio. I hope so! Someone must have asked him about buying Cisco, no way he would have brought it up. Of course, COMS was all the talk, as a possible buyout by Intel, wasn't it. No way Jose on that one! (I hope). Hopefully, Frank is well on his way to Fall splendor in New England.
