Hi Thread: New to this thread, & have a question -- and an idea:
We are trading quite a few option contracts [appx. 5 buys/sells daily] and are very frustrated w/the commissions. Do any of you know of a reliable online discount broker where commisions are less than, for example, from one of our accts:
GLWJF 4 1 1/4 SELL 9/24/98 31.4 500
GLWJF 8 1 SELL 9/23/98 37.8 800
GLWJF 6 1/2 BUY 9/18/98 34.6 300
GLWJF 6 1/2 BUY 9/15/98 34.6 300

The idea: If you haven't noticed, every time someone sneezes in Cochabamba ...... or anywhere in SA, all Mex. stocks severely knee-jerk, then quickly recover. The best option plays we've had the past 2 months have been on TMX, and to a lesser extent, TV, in terms of quick in & out. Years ago, we decided to only be option sellers [cov'd. calls]; but in the past few months, the option plays have been the saving grace.
