It is ludicrous to assert, as you and Starr do, that testing the scope of privileges in court and then following the court's decision is an abuse of power. Similarly, claiming that saying the same thing to his cabinet that he said publicly to the press (that he did not have sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky) constitutes obstruction of justice or an abuse of power is absurd overreaching. Odious right wing extremism. Transparent extreme partisanship. Push back the religious right!! Keep them from dictating to America. The upwelling public disgust with the sanctimonious Republicans could just lead to a large backlash, even as soon as November, if the electorate is properly scarred by some effective campaign messages.
