Please. Enough is enough. Give it a rest. Let's all move on.

Given your advise, we all sell at 1 1/2 and move on to other opportunities. I assume you have evaluated Peritus at this price, and not just moved with the herd, who have possibly driven the price lower than its intrinsic value.

We have all taken a hit here, and selling may be the right thing to do for some. But in my opinion the stock has an opportunity to recover some of its losses, which in % terms may be better than can be done elseware.

Consider the following probable senerio..

1) All the worst of the worst news is out (and it was awful, expenses greater than revenues is amazing for this stage of a y2k company). But the market has now assumed the worst, and if the numbers come in on the low side...

2) Look for MAJOR changes for the good. Large staff reductions, selling or just licensing y2k tools (let customer finance IT staff to implement) , 90% of salesforce shifted to Outsourcing and away from y2k, providing sustainable revenue and earnings.

3) Note that if Peritus can turn the corner, most small outsourcing companys with their platform expertise have eventually been acquired.

So the "lets move on" may have been appropriate at $3.25, but shouldn't be blindly executed without some rational evaluation at these levels.
