Stockman et al -How about this speculation: INTC is having firesale on their NICs so that when they merge with COMS there is not the bloated inventory problem. Evidently NICs of COMS are better for various reasons that make them appear as a better value and hence INTC must have clearance sale. INTC to concentrate on their mother board implementation of networking while newly acquired COMS takes care of everything outside the motherboard. JFD
