The station is a ongoing news broadcast. It sounds like they are reporting stuff from Icaac on a ongoing basis. They have moved off the new antibiotic story to the flu story. I think over the next few days we will see coverage of Icaac in print. We "might" get picked up or we might not in other media. I am NOT saying this is a entremed story, but news on entremed was out way before the NY times article. It was the article brought the story into public view.
