Joe is one of the better reporters on CNBC. He is not a teleprompter geek, and his spontaneity is refreshing. His relaxed attitude is an antidote to the frenzied tone of others in the newsroom. While I agree they could broaden the focus of his reports away from the momentum or disaster de jour (I got a little sick of the daily updates on KTEL a few months ago), he knows what he is talking about without putting on airs. And he is good at explaining biotech in layman's terms. This I prefer to happy campers like Tyler Matheson or analyst groupies any day.
