That is a useful list of SA gold miners, but the lack of pgm miners is notable. It appears that some, previously listed as ADRs, no longer are due to the changed reporting, sponsorship and qualifying standards on NASDAQ. A few years ago it was possible to indirectly invest in SA platinum and palladium producers through for example Lydenburg (then LYDPY), or even to buy Rustenburg or Impala on the old pink sheets. Are there any SA pgm miners listed as ADRs?

Looks like Anglo American is struggling with Goldfields not only over Dreifontein but also (through Amplats) over Northam Platinum too. Isn't Northam a fairly marginal pgm operation?

And Impala is apparently, and finally, facing real legal challenges over some of its properites. Is this all related?

PS- Thanks for the follow up reference in post #800 on Dutch CB Sale thread - probably more appropriate to discuss SA mining stocks on the SA mining thread?
