3Com Tops August Modem Sales According to research company PC Data, 3Com held the top three spots for best-selling modems last month. PC Data's figures place 3Com's 56-kilobit-per-second Winmodem in first place, followed by the external and internal versions of the 56-Kbps Faxmodem. The No. 4 and No. 5 spots were held by 33.6-Kbps modems from Digicom and NewCom, respectively. Regards Neil
