Dipy, your analogy is dipyish.

"It is like, when you are being tried as to whether or not you stole a 6-pack from a 7-11 last week, you were asked whether you drank a beer last night! Whether or not you drank last night has no bearing on the theft case whatsoever.

Of course it does. Particularly if the prosecution can show that you drink a lot of the kind of beer that was stolen and that your financial situation was such that you couldn't afford the beer. It's called corroborative evidence.

Don't ever try to represent yourself in a legal matter.
