Rom, you ask some tuff questions and I agree. I would also be more concerned if PRST were to release the plate as commercially available before they have had all of the time required to perfect such an endeavor. No one would like to see the PEARLgold plate commercially available any more than me (well maybe) but I would rather wait, albeit anxiously for it to be perfect. This is the only no-process plate available in the world at any quantity. Kodak was supposed to have one at IPEX for the SM-74. Where is it? I am comforted by the fact that the giant DOW 30 Kodak does not have one at all. This would lead me to believe that we have a substantial lead in the development of this kind of thin film coating, via the vacuum technology that is required. I am not comfortable waiting, but who is. Since the short interest has dried up another 8.6%, then it looks like they are tired of waiting also. We are all waiting for something. I have time on my side. Good luck to each and all SG.
