Personally I feel kind of bad for Meriwether - I've been a fan of his since I read Liar's Poker where I read about him psyching out Gutfreund at Salomon. Henry, in Cramer's column on TheStreet.com, he opines that the LTC situation will prompt a revision of bond margin requirements. As I understand it you can trade in cash bonds at 5% margin. Can you comment on the validity of Cramer's assertion and the implications?
