Question: The implications of yesterday's QCOM HDR announcement; 1.5M per second of data.

1. Wasn't faster data rates the whole point of 3G? Doesn't that mean CDMA is 3G???

1. What does that mean to the internet? Couldn't you theoretically have a CDMA connection thru your digital phone and surf @ 1.5M?
Or would the hold-up be when the signal crossed through a modem into POTS? How do cable modems work through that problem?

3. Maybe this is really big and the implications are sinking in; we've had the best day we've had in weeks AND at good volume.
