Sam - I am posting a Digrdoug post from the Raging Bull Mine thread after my comments, interesting reading.
I do not think there is a conspiracy between the Back Door Boys and GE. GE does not seem to like the Back Door Boys. Lawsuits flying.
GE does say that the financial are a big mess. Inspires confidence don't it???? They are not lying about that. Mostly we are getting no information, no information is not a lie either.
If you are interested in SUNR and GEs relationship the RB Mine thread probably contains the most information.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sam, Digrdoug did an comparison of GE and SUNR. He got bashed for his efforts. This is his reply to the bashers: ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Many responses to my opinions. Some further clarification:
Colleen: I have never contended that all of the gold was gone or that the locals have even recovered all of the gold from the material that they moved. No question that the fine gold went into the river. My contention is that there is a lot of gold in the Paleo Canal and not much in the Canagalli material. BTW, Cangalli is the term used in the area for the cemented material that we know in Canada as Hardpan.
IMO the crux of the issue here is; can Guido and Dr. Hausen be believed that the whole Valley is full of placer gold that nobody else has been able to locate or extract. On this question I simply do not know.
We organized an expedition for a hard rock deal with GLS Global Assets from Victoria B.C. There is a thread on SI under VSE:GLO that has some information about our activities in the hardrock side of things. Pre BreX.
Re the accounting. Many large accounting firms, Price Waterhouse for one, have offices in Bolivia and can convert the data to US Standards. Receipts are definitely a problem because of the 14.94% IVA. One company, a Major, had receipts for less than 25% of it's exploration costs but still got an audit from PW.
To my beloved Bashers: Look at our website at seaside.net/homepage/canbol/ and refer to our former joint venture partner at glsglobal.com and then tell me you do not believe I have ever been to Bolivia or the Yungas area. How to explain my smiley face with a bar of gold I poured? LOL
Re Sun River: I have no personal interest in either company and I agree that they need to raise a whole bunch of money to pull this project off. You would have to ask them how they plan to raise the money. I did tell one of my friends, a partner in Aluvion S.A., that I felt it would be very tough for SR to raise the money in the current gold market. I will post some other SR answers over on the SR board on RB.
Looking forward to raising some money so that I can go back to Bolivia.
Best Regards to all, Doug PS: if anybody wants to post any of my opinions on SI please feel free to do so. |
