I think the beauty of Q's position is that it doesn't have to prove anything in order to build a kick-as* blastin' 3g wireless system. No other company yet has said that they own IPR preventing Q from building cdma2000 systems anywhere they want to. (Though knowing Ericsson this is coming soon...) All proponents of W-CDMA must PROVE (most likely in court, in a several-year long process, if it comes to that) that their system gets around Q's IPR.

Dave, it is nice to count patents, but in my opinion that is like arguing about who has a longer [deleted]. The size doesn't really matter. As Maurice said (and you are in fine form tonight Maurice) If ERICY owns a thousand, and Q only five, but ERICY needs those five, end of argument. Qualcomm has everything that they need.
