Give it up, ZP. It won't work. I've been participating in electronic communication confluences (email, chats, threads, company groups, etc, etc, et fili et zion, socius popliusque Romanus, and more) for 15 years now, and humans just don't do it. I've tried it in many c contexts, from project teams to email interest groups. I've observed it in many others. I used to lose heart, but now I recognize that it is strength.
I don't think people aren't willing to try to help with organizing interests. I have observed, though, that enthusiasm/interest/concerns or whatever other motives override these things. Besides, any organization implies boxing in expression, and people don't conform to that when expressing opinions. If I want to gripe about NT, am I talking about operating systems or am I talking about Microsoft or am I talking about error recovery? Probably I'm talking about all three and several other categories.
Whoo, this is enough for one night. But what would you file this message under? Dumbo, probably. <G>
