To the thread....

I've read all the posts and feel that the discussion
of late has wandered from the stated purpose of the thread.

Seems we should exercise our collective brain to

1. Calculate price levels Buffett would add to
present holdings ... are any of these issues
any where near the level of "current year owner earnings"
or some other "value" level for new purchases???

2. Are there any candidates for Buffett stocks in the
small cap area that have the potential to be the "growthies"
of the next 10 to 15 years that can be purchased now at
"reasonable prices"

My "back of the envelope" calculation for current year owner
earnings is Net profit + depreciation - capital spending -
interest on long term debt...capitalized @ 7%..divided by
shares outstanding. My limited understanding of Mr. Buffetts
investment philosophy is from several readings of "The Warren
Buffett Way" by Robert Hagstrom .. and a tape of a talk he gave
at UNC a couple of years ago..

Any thoughts??
