Not everyone respects Mr. Struthers opinion, and the e-mail posted is just one more reason why I don't.

Why in the world would anybody think a merger of Maxam and IPM would drive Maxam up to 60 cents? Does such a merger result in Maxam discovering an economic recovery process? Does such a merger result in Maxam raising the funds needed to research and demonstrate an economic recovery process?

Maxam already has 70 square miles (or whatever it is) of dirt lying around doing nothing. More dirt than they would ever be able to use even if they do crack the code. What earthly difference does a few more square miles of idle dirt do to add value to Maxam?

One other thing, the e-mail was received today and people are expected to make a decision today? I believe one of the first things they teach old people to avoid being scammed is never give money to somebody who requires it immediately or the wonderful deal they are offering goes away.

One last point. Why does Maxam have to merge with IPM (and take on their debts) to begin with? Does not Phoenix/Omega own the rights to BRX? IPM never fulfilled the terms of their obligation to Phoenix/Omega. Why can't they just give the rights to Maxam for free rather than spend precious funds to pay off IPM debts?

IMO, this deal smells fishy. Don't bother sending an e-mail to me. I'm not biting.
