Insook, are the Chaebols controlled by families then, and passed from father to son? If so, what generation of ownership are we on? In the US very few families have successfully operated a business for more than a few generations. The longest one with which I am familiar is the descendants of Cyrus McCormick who invented the reaper. I believe his descendants controlled the company for 7 generations. Carl
