Chat: MUEI and FRO -
MUEI, Micron Electronics, has been strong all week, even on the big down days. Stock continues to trade with higher highs and higher lows, looks like run from 16 area to 20 then 25 is increasingly likely. Box makers have been a strong group (Dell, CPW, etc. MUEI releases earnings after the bell on Monday, company has announced that they would do this. MUEI is under good new management for about 6 months now, has some of the best boxes in the biz, and is starting to capitalize on it. Is majority owned by MU, and the speculation on MU being purchased only enhances the investment outlook for MUEI.
FRO - Frontier Communications, came down to 24 area from high of 36, has been acting quite strongly, not going down on weak days, holding the 28 area nicely and testing 29. Stock could easily run back to 32-36, with downside of 27-28, IMO. Also stock, as local telco, cellular, and long distance carrier, remains as attractive takeover candidate. larrry |
