Mark & All: I'm back from travels......at least for ONE day, anyway. Heh! Well it looks like VLNC has fallen back some since its recent run-up. This is not surprising since those in for a quick buck would have taken their percentages and run for the hills(or at least sit back and wait a new entry point.....like maybe now?). This is how I view the recent pullback, particularly since it happened on low volume.

Still, if all is what it seems to be, then me thinks we're getting set for a run. Will it commence some time in October? Let's see, we've had that industry magazine include commentary from corporate VLNC providing a status of their lines, we see recent promotions to key roles for internal folks whose backgrounds are impressive, and lastly the underground is alluding to all kinds of things. So yup, it looks like between now and year end things should get VERY interesting.

The only thing I see which can negatively impact VLNC(short of the obvious line failure, etc.) is the general deterioration of the global economy. Folks, it's reached home shores now, what with the failure of that major hedge fund(Long Term Capital Mgmnt, LNP - what a joke of a name for a hedge fund, eh?) which required Fed intervention here in the last couple of days. I don't think I enjoy the prospects of our government having to play a confidence game by buoying hedge's in order to keep the bubble intact. Generally speaking this doesn't bode well.....as a matter of fact I've begun moving a percentage of holdings into metal related plays. But this is another matter. Meanwhile, looking for great things out of VLNC, comparable to my own experience with DELL(now THERE'S a story to warm the heart).

By the way, here's a great, FREE(though you have to register) site which gives you real time trading data, right down to up/down ticks, number of trades done, etc.: freerealtime.com:8000/

Regards!

John~
