jbe-

I would have thought that a man of your intellect and education would have done a better job of compiling your chronological list, but I see that the hour was late when you posted, so that may have had some effect on the results. Then again maybe in my old age I am not as mentally sharp as I used to be. But all of that is really unimportant. I agree that it would have been better to have left my remark unsaid, but that does not detract from the truth of it. I believe in taking care of our needy, but I also agree with John Smith who I believe said something to the effect of no work-no eat. I also agree with Abe Lincoln in that every man regardless of race should have the right to earn his daily bread and eat it in peace without fear from his fellow man. And I get angry as hell when I see pictures of our president with his block voter support which has been bought with my tax money. For the record I am an "America First" type guy, and I despise those politicians (both republicans and democrats) who put party over country. Where are our statesmen from the earlier days? I could go on, but I have said enough and possibly too much already. I would add that if I have said anything in the past to offend you personally I certainly apologize, but no apology for my remarks that were not personal. :0))
