i shorted 1000 CMGI thursday night at 54 3/4 and covered pre-open at 51 3/4. helped to make up for the lose i had on wednesday with XCIT. then i traded CSCO, DELL, XCIT, SEEK, & COMS. all mixed trades, some good, some bad. traded 12 times and ended slighly positive by the end of the day. stocks just swinging all over and after what happened on thursday you don't want to get caught in a slide. next week will be good because i expect a rally on anticipated rate cuts. and if they are what expected at 1/4 point we will do fine. next week i will be trading some quick movers based on this for a large return. i saw to many internet stocks move 5 - 12 points in a day. need to catch one with a 2000-3000 buy and ride it out. like XCIT, NSCP, CMGI, INTK, BCST, and others on my minder list. not something that i normally do, but its almost gauranteed and like stealing.
