ed: The rate cut will happen Tues. -.5% or greater. This is the deal the NY Fed worked out with Greenspan as an incentive to bail out Long Term Cap. Appreciaton Fund debacle. Increased earnings have already been preannounced Everyone knows about the Win98 story so what is the unknown good news? Wintel as a whole must be discounting increased CPU sales in the second half.
