Cool Doug. Got some pointers on that one? As I've confessed, I'm still catching up on this stuff. Sounds in character with the Arkansas Project and all that. Brings to mind J. Edgar Hoover and John Le Carre "honey traps". To repeat, the main parallel between Watergate and Bimbogate seems to be the Republican dirty tricks at the bottom of it all.

One serious question, on the legal front. There's this well known conflict of interest thing on the transition between Ken Starr, the well known advocate of woman's rights, starting up the Paula Jones sexual harassment suit and Ken Starr, objective and non-partisan "just the facts" Special Prosecutor. You've probably spoken to this before, but would an analogous situation in a less visible and political thing ever be allowed? Would a DA be allowed to go after alleged perjury in a suit he instigated as a private attorney?

Cheers, Dan.
