Hi Julius:

I hope Mr. Greenspan helps out with an interest rate cut. My guess he will.
However, the market has already factored this in methinks, and the end result of a cut will not be so dramatic as most hope. Gold stocks are rising too which might result from the hedge fund catastrophe?? or just in case he doesn't lower rates?
I am following his lead and am not being overexuberant at this point hating to being whipsawed any more. Also, I do think the Techs are going to be fine esp. Dell, Oracle, IBM and MSFT (?) Therefore, I am holding a third smaller position in FSPTX and some direct stocks.
Some big changes are coming with networking and $500 PCs.
The bulk of my Fidelity investments are now in Gov't Securities, Investment Grade Bond, FFIDX and money market not wishing to seeing the Ides of August again this year. Better safe than sorry at my age.
It's a great game like a war.
