Are you saying that in P&F vernacular....that furthest peak that would form the triple top doesn't count because of the activity that occurred in between..i.e. the shorter intervening series of X's?

By the way your point about the possible downside consequences upon failure is easily shown in the top left corner of the chart....if indeed that was a triple top chart. Or again was it simply a double top?

Perhaps this chart is plotted differently....this is a 3 reversal amount of hi/lo range...
