Frank -- The CC highlights are available on SSAX's website as a powerpoint presentation for those that are interested. What I heard and what I read are very positive, and will not only stabilize the stock price but set the stage for progressive upward momentum. Here are some top line points from the call:
*rev growth of 15%, skewed toward 2Q99, with an exit from 1999 @ 20%
*Net earnings to significantly improve over '98 -- mostly from the current cost reductions, the 20% decrease in op costs and the outsourcing of of application development
*strong expense controls
*1999 -- 45% software rev; 55% service rev
*Base rev plan of $420-$425 mil; growth plan of $75 mil
*goals -- significant increase in client satisfaction, improved product quality and performance, increased number of referenceable clients
*Products -- refreshed BPCS 6.04 by mid October 98; Mid October expect shipping of enhanced HP/UNIX generator for BPCS and tool kit; 2 - 10X improved performance and 5X increase in scaleability
*BPCS 6.1 release in Jan 1999 for all platforms
*NT version available in Q3 '99
*Signed Significant deal with HP to develop and test new NT version
*Deal with i2 around Rhythm to enable BPCS to seamlessly integrate with other apps; avialable in Jan '99 BPCS release
*improve resource utilization and service margins
*strengthened partnerships with IBM and HP
*joint marketing and leasing with IBM Credit Corp
*improve the "viability perception" of the company by remaining cash positive
*new licensing fees will result in about $8-12 mil in growth
*Enhanced AS/400 sales globally
*enhanced sales to existing clients and continued pipeline strengthening new business clients
*Service revs to increase $40-45 mil
*Other partnership deals in progress targeting sales force automation, systems management, and internet offerings
*reinstituting Affiliate and re-marketer program worldwide
*Hardware sales to generate an additional $10 mil in new sales

I churned a number of shares in the high 6 range, but have been buying under 6 and will continue to buy under 6. This company will see the teen's again in price. I really like the new management.

Cheers,

Richard
