Well, I heard about her a few years ago but haven't kept track of her. She's apparently a lesbian feminist erotic writer and commentator, with a wicked sense of humor. And utterly fearless. Something of a unique character. <ggg> She came to my attention at some point as she was taking on and ridiculing some of the more censorious neo-Puritan feminists, such as Katherine McKinnon. (Thankfully she's somewhat faded, it seems.) I guess I did have the impression, based on nothing more than supposition, that Suzie Bright was pretty well known in the, shall we say hothouse, Bay Area culture. <g> Seems to have some sort of regular column at Salon, although I haven't checked that out. <g> But wasn't that just hysterical??? <ggg> Doug
