Do you think a lower fed rate will spur new investment in semi equipment? If Intel invests in Micron some of that money will probably be used to upgrade/duplicate the TI equipment they got to match there set for process repeatability. There is a good chance the stock will move up on some of the recent developments, I doubt we will go down with lower rates and Japan might have a bank resolution again. One of these times Japan will really act and this might spur there economy helping orders to start coming in. We will head back south if the November outlook is still poor/cloudy, but there have not been any pre announcements from LAM or NVLS which is a good sign. Varian, Watkins-Johnson and AGAI have all announced layoffs recently which is a bad sign. Things are still mixed but maybe the bigger players are starting to stabilize.
