Trey: I am trying to unscramble the meaning of your idea from your garbled sentences. I really don't mean to offend, but really, you and Skeeter and probably many others--Y'all need an ENGLISH TEACHER, geeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzz.
I get the part that the BTO puts inventory pressure on semi's. They are forced, by the nature of the manufacturing process, to run at full steam, presumably until they reach projected demand, (I'm filling in an incomplete image). Whereas in the old-days computer assembly processes more closely matched those of the semi's, so inventory burden was 1) more evenly weighted between supplier and user, and 2)possibly even less overall--right?
Or, no, I appear to be wrong, because in the next paragraph, you say that nowadays imbalances will be less dramatic than in 1995. See, I tried and I couldn't do it. You people argue about things, and you don't even know what each other is saying.
How about Dell (vs CMPQ)? (new high)
