if greenspan lowers rates a 1/2 point(which is what i believe he will do)>>>>>

well there are many in your camp

although to me it seems unlikely to have that big of a move from a neutral bias....first time out

there are some bond traders that came on CNBC that 1/4 point was already priced into the bonds..and 1/2 point was starting to be factored in

some talking heads are saying 1/4 point is priced into the stock market and possibly 1/2

it's hard for me to see how someone can say confidently that 1/4 is priced into the stock market..but not 1/2 or whatever....

what you seem to be implying is that 1/2 is not priced in..but over 1/4 is priced in....since 1/4 would cause a sell off

so what makes you think that?
