James, I was only illustrating a point with what system traders do. I wouldn't deserve to be in the investment community if I didn't use my judgement, and neither would I find much respect for one who failed to use it. But perhaps there was a miscommunication error, because the value that I find in technical analysis has to do with those factors you mentioned--the removal of emotional factors-- in addition to offsetting my analysis with what the market is saying. That's all.
