to all: considering the dearth of information and explanations over the past several years, why bother now to issue a press release stating what has become obvious?
also, a few other questions for anyone with the knowledge and patience to offer an answer or opinion:
-- is it typical for a new product of this type to be marketed initially through just one small chain of stores, i.e. the wiz, or is it a sign of trouble that this won't really be a national unveiling, if and when it occurs?
-- is anyone else cynical about the announcement of the vegas electronics show presentation when, after all, the company made similar announcements as far back as 1992?
-- is the concept of a portable, affordable, shoebox-sized projection tv unit dead? this was the original idea of pjtv (or so we believed) and if it is no longer a possibility, it would be nice at least to know this for a fact.
-- what's the deal with tamarack? pjtv's most recent 10-Q form acknowledges "it is doubtful" that tamarack's holographic storage device can be successfully marketed. does that mean that tamarack is defunct, or what?
-- what's the story on eugene dolgoff, the co-founder? 10-Ks say he was sued by employees for sexual harassment, then fired by pjtv, and then in turn he sued the company.
. . . enough for now. please keep the forum going.
