It's hard to understand why AMD would be having so much trouble designing something this simple. A cache controller shouldn't take this long. A couple of steppings should be plenty to do the trick but AMD has had more than enough time to do 5-7 or more steppings. I think this is just more confirmation of the mass exodus of design engineers from AMD as well as a suggestion that perhaps all may not be as smooth as they would have us believe at their fabs, oops, I mean fab. Low pay, worthless options and bad moral are taking their toll.
