Trey, very glad you were not offended. I checked some of your other posts and see you are not usually, if ever, so oblique. Maybe it's just my ignorance on the subject. I admit I have only the vaguest notion of 'spot'. I assume it is some type of intermediate market. Will have to research this area. Can you point me anywhere? How much and how soon do you see Intel's market share being affected by AMD? Don't forget, Intel is a powerful brand name. I would think there would have to be defections by some major Intel customers like Compaq, etc. Also, I know the initial release of Celeron was troubled, but I had understood that it is much better now. wily
