I had owned a lot of AFLX as a result of a discussion mentioning it on this thread this spring and for a short time and immediately it went up very well. I actually asked INVX about it at the time after my buy and they only knew of it as a lower quality flex-flip maker and had no interest. Then the CFO appeared before a forum without apparently knowing he would be asked how business was going or as I asked at a CC without politically being able to cancel his appearance and the stock went down half that day and shortly after, and it had also declined previously from its high. I sold at a significant loss and since that time the stock went into the depths, declining another 70%. Their CEO had talked about getting some new Philips exposure during that CC but apparently that hasn't saved the company. While they had a lot of sales in a product area in which INVX generically is interested, this does not look like the company because they are wedded to a higher end in which their engineers and experience will make the difference. Remember they are looking for 2/3 of their sales in 5 years to be out of DD and in the packaging and flex circuit area particularly. That said, it would be hard to imagine that AFLXs management would not want to dig out of the current hole to restore their wealth on their own.
