Happy Holidays to All!!!

And may visions of GRNO plums dance in your heads!

Norm, Thanks for your work. It sounds like you did a detailed analysis of a scenario for 1997. Are you aware that you came out right on the money? (Notice the pun?) Tecumseh's (Investor Relations) estimate dated October 2, 1996, estimates 50 cents for 1997 and from the web page I see $3,000,000 for the nine units that Bill Carraway estimates for 1997. I divide $3 million by 5.6 million shares and get 53 cents. So we have no argument!

And now still another analogy to my 1975 job.

Six low wage testers in manufacturing plugged my little amplifiers into a test fixture to see whether they passed spec or not. The circuit assembly had been automated and we were working on automating test. But in wandering around in Manufacturing I could see that the scrap rate was too high because of loose or missing wire bonds. Even though I wrote a trouble shooting procedure for each design, the testers didn't know what they meant. So I offered to hold training classes after hours and handed out a package of detailed diagrams explaining what each part of the circuit did. I had 6 eager students who seemed to understand my classes were an opportunity for advancement. The effect of my classes had such a profound effect on Manufacturing productivity that my handouts and classes were made part of the orientation for all new test technicians they hired.

I see that tester handout as analogous to my GRNO Owner's Manual. The more we understand about what we are putting our money into, the less likely we are to make a mistake.

Charles
