one way to look at it is that cien tlab merger fell through when cien management WOULDN't accept another down tick in the offer from TLAB. I think internally, management sees value NORTH of $30 here (when the dust settles). Don't forget, the original offer from TLAB (very smart) was NORTH of $40 wasn't it? Cou'ld the underlying business CHANGE that much in a month or so? I doubt it. I expect indsiders to step up at this level.
