jjsirius, I use DWA for the technicals. To study the manager and his history, I look to the track record reported by Morning Star.

A case in point, take a look at FSVLX. Two months ago it showed up on DWA's Mutual Fund Dog house screen along with FSESX. These are strong three year performers that fell out of bed. Don't you want to buy well run funds when they're on sale?

If you pull up the chart on FSVLX at DWA you will see a fund giving a triple top buy signal after basing from a severe decline. Here's a fund specializing in home financing another word for S&L's and we're still in a low interest rate market. Looks like a trade to me.
