Yes, OK, good point and find. It certainly changes the flavor, doesn't it?

It's a good example of Starr's slanting his report.

Moving that one little word slants and greatly deflates Lewinsky's actual words. Turns an affirmative supporting statement for the President into something that sounds, on Starr's retelling, like a further damaging accusation.

The thing is, Starr is not supposed to act only as an opponent. He is also supposed to present exculpatory information under the OIC statute.
