>>How easy for me to look at someones religion/situation/personality and say, there's no way in the world anything I can say will have the slightest effect on his/her life.<<

It is interesting to note that Paul instructs us to be partakers of meat instead of milk: but confoundingly he instructs us to do so by the USE of God's word. No special degrees or education, cannot buy the meat the Lord would have us eat: simply, let us use what God has provided for us. Let us apply his word unto maturity in Christ.

Some would say to repent unto maturity; but of no requisite do I know for ministry or for gifts of the Holy Spirit that require repentance. I believe that we must keep a clean heart and a forgiving heart before God so that our gifts are not hindered. But repentance bringing gifts and ministry, nonsense !

Though gifts or ministries may be buried, they are not dead. They may be ineffective, they may be dormant but they are alive, they are waiting to bring victory to the person that believes the victory has already been won.

If we want victory in Christ then we must pray to be sent to the battle. If we want the spoils of war then we must endure until the end of the battle. The greatest spoils are ahead but the mighty army of God marches on to the steady litany of praise and worship.

But I might add that the army of God is provisioned well, the wages are more than adequate. Wasn't it king David that said The Lord is my shepherd I shall not "want"; He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. Doesn't this mean that the Lord will even provide for your "wants" in addition to your needs. I might get a little flack over that statement !

The hardships we endure we do so voluntarily for the object of our faith.................KING JESUS...........GLORY TO GOD......
