Kirk...what do you think about the implications of the hedge fund debacle BB spoke of yesterday. His comment was something like "the strangest thing he has ever seen." These hedge funds appear to be HIGHLY leveraged and virtually unregulated. Moreover, for the fed to so swiftly move to arrange the $3 billion bailout speaks volumes about the fear that this problem could shake up the financial markets in general. BB spoke yesterday about his suspected reason for the bailout--to allow an orderly liquidation of fund assest and/or to forestall forced liquidation. My suspicious nature makes me wonder about what hasn't been disclosed yet... Anyone out there have detailed knowledge about hedge funds, and where the "untold story" is?? Regards...Bill S
