I will say what I think a SAC should do.
The SAC should investigate the company and determine if the managment is working in the best interests of the shareholders. If not, the SAC could bring legal action against the company to force changes in the way they operate, make managment changes, file SEC actions to prevent the managment from
a course of action detrimental to the shareholders. Take over the company.
At the very least, we have a record of the people involved with the company and we have a communications network that reaches millions of people.
If the company is not legitimate we can effectively destroy any other deals they ever get involved in. The risk to them is greater now that we have the internet to communicate. I think stock promoters are using the internet to create buying in less than legimate investments. We can use the same medium to let everyone know they are crooks, if they are.
I don't have any reason to suspect that NIAR is involved in any scams, but the people involved with NIAR including the IR firms should know they are at risk of reputation if they promote a bad deal to connected investors. We could start a thread for postings of scam artists we know about. We could petition the SEC to post a site with the names of people who have been indicted or banned from the securities business. I will write to them today and ask for that.
