<<borrow a ZIP drive>> you say. I'm sorry to say that in most circles represented here that would be a very easy and preferred solution. Being a psychologist however, even a somewhat older shrink, if I were to ask my friends if I could borrow a ZIP drive I dare say most of them would respond something like "I don't have one..is that a sports car?"(g) (In my office of 7 shrinks I'm actually considered the resident PC guru because, among other challenging tasks, I install my own software instead of calling computer services to do it.) So I truly enjoy and appreciate this thread...the help and the helpfulness of everyone. You can't imagine what blank stares I've gotten for mentioning that I am going to build a computer. They are apparently dumbfounded by the very notion and I've decided to keep it to myself at work for fear they might think I'm giving up my job to go into a new line of work or that they might think this is a symptom of stress...two friends who are completely technologically impaired have already counseled me not to try something so....at that point their sentences stop and I think they're thinking it's dangerous or weird or something. I'm actually having a blast.
