MT - I agree with what you said, but be aware that my post concerned the bankruptcy Japan Leasing Corporation, one of three non-bank affiliates of troubled Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan Ltd.

This is not (as far as I know) related to the Long Term Capital hedge fund. It is a separate financial debacle of mammoth proportions. $16 Billion US dollars.
