As a rule a car thief usually doesn't take quite as good of care of the auto as did the person who paid for it. Also tend not to be the most careful drivers.

The 60's models of any make of car didn't last too long around here. The old metal alloys, when kept covered with salt slush for 5 months a year, tended to have metal termite infestations.
