Penni,

Ever the would-be interior decorator who telecommutes from home, I have one of those wood and upholstry steno chairs--hardly ergonomic, but I do not want my house to look like Dilbert's place.

I tried one of those whatchamacallits on which you kneel more than sit, and I found it very comfortable, except the one I had had insufficient padding for the knees. Otherwise, it was the best setup I ever used. Sitting cross-legged provides the same ergonomics.

I also have one of those Shihatsu (sp) massagers that fits the back of my steno chair. I sit in dread of the day when it wears out.

I'll admit that I do not take as many breaks from the computer as I should. I just want to get through it and get it over with so I can play with my friends at SI.

Holly

p.s. That corsage post is one of your best! I committed that post to a very special sector of my depraved hard disk.

Two other of my favorite Penni posts (and there are many!) that come to mind are: The one in which you got into it with an redneck, anti-yuppie father at a school football game. The one in which you told about Dan getting his job, winning out over seemed to be some very heavy Ivy League competition. It had something to do with the funny way these other guys talked.
