I got this one out of a Bear Stearns report: Factors that Could Lead Us to Upgrade Our Rating Again. Even without a major turn-around in the overall market environment, we would reassess our rating if some of the following things occurred: 3) Better disclosure --- we have consistently found Omnipoint's disclosure to be less revealing and more difficult to decipher than that of the other publicly traded PCS companies. We will speak with the new CFO when OMPT announces one to see if the reporting will become more consistent and transparent. That is pretty funny, IMHO. This analyst feels that Omnipoint has enough capital to last until the summer of 1999. I would be surprised if it lasted beyond the spring, what is your take on how quickly the company will need to finance itself again.
