I asked Rite Flex about Adflex and their flex circuits. They said they tried to make a FOS, but couldn't make a competitive product so the bailed from the project. That is not meant to say anything bad about the company. Just a little thing I heard. When I read about them, they had an interesting model with about 50% of their business in HDD. They were movng manufacturing from UK to Thailand which looked like it would extend a profitable picture. Haven't followed them since. By the way, INVX had a booth at a trade show for chip packaging in Arizona last month. I asked if they had anything significant going yet on flip chip and they said no. I asked if they could have an announcement anytime soon and they said probably before the year end. I saw a panel with flip chip circuits. Interesting. I updated some notes on the Hutchinson thread if you all are interested. Regards, Mark
